Schneier&amp;rsquo;s first best to seller, &amp;ldquo;Applied Cryptography,&amp;rdquo; explains how secret codes work at the moment, and &lt;em&gt;Wired &lt;/em&gt;describes it as &amp;ldquo;the book to it that the National Security Agency never wanted that outside published&amp;rdquo;. His book on network and computer security, &amp;ldquo;Secrets and Lies,&amp;rdquo; is mentioned by &lt;em&gt;Fortune &lt;/em&gt;as &amp;ldquo;a box with small surprises that really you can use&amp;rdquo;.
